PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Misuaksual Lutuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Po comes to the cage accompanied by Tribal Seeds- Vampire. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lutuka has his takedown stuffed
and Po counters with a low kick, right behind Lutuka 's knee.
Lutuka thows a body shot but no joy.
Lutuka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Po sprawls well. Po wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lutuka gets slowly back to his feet.
Lutuka fails with a takedown attempt.
Lazarus Po has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Misuaksual Lutuka.
Lutuka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

It looks like Misuaksual Lutuka has been cut.

Po might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Po stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Po wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

During a confident post fight interview, Lazarus Po thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
