Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ric Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flores comes into the arena with Napalm & Erruption- In San Francisco blaring out of the sound system. Alex Holmes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores tries a head kick but it misses.
Holmes tries to close the distance and clinch but Flores swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Flores lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Flores closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Holmes did well to prevent Flores getting side control.

Holmes is trying to maintain the position but Flores is very close to passing his half guard.

Holmes is in a horrible position here. Flores smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Flores postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Holmes in real trouble here! The ref calls for Holmes to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ric Flores!
Ric Flores decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
