Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jet Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buffalo Ushijima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 3 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buffalo Ushijima!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ushijima moves in looking to clinch but Chan pushes him off.
Ushijima tries to close the distance and clinch but Chan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Chan has had enough of the clinch but Ushijima keeps him there for the moment.

Ushijima's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Chan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ushijima tries to bench press Chan off him but Chan keeps the position.
Chan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
I wouldn't like to be where Ushijima is right now.

Ushijima lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Chan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Ushijima gets his way!

Ushijima decides to stand back up. Ushijima steps back and let's Chan get back to his feet.

Chan jumps guard but Ushijima stands there with Chan around his waist. Chan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well Ushijima has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
