Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ken Bison!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daniels is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bison's half guard.
Bison has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daniels is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels prevents Bison from standing back up.
Daniels stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniels tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bison.
Bison is trying to stand up here but Daniels is controlling him well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Josh Daniels just wasn't active enough.
Bison throws a hook but Daniels avoids it easily.
Daniels blocks a head kick by Bison.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Daniels shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bison's guard.
Daniels content to stall in guard here.
Bison wants to sweep here but Daniels controlling him for the moment.
Bison is still trying to improve position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bison manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Daniels is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bison wants to stand but Daniels is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Daniels wants to hold on but Bison pushes him away.
Daniels avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bison.
Bison tries to control but Daniels wriggling away.
Bison landing strikes, looking to finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bison has control of Daniels's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Daniels regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bison on the ground.
Daniels really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

A nice elbow there by Bison.
Daniels tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Bison is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bison extends the arm and Daniels is forced to tap!
