The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox shoots in for a takedown but Dice shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dice swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cox.

Dice shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dice showed some decent athleticism there.
Dice is trying to control the action in half guard but Cox is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dice in particular looking to stall.
Cox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cox is trying to push Dice away but Dice has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Dice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cox pinned against the cage. Cox gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dice uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cox.
No luck for Cox with that takedown attempt.
Cox moves out of range of the body kick.

Cox tries to keep at a distance but Dice has taken the fight into the clinch.

Cox jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dice walks away with a smile on his face. Cox gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Dice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dice tries to close the distance and clinch but Cox swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cox stuns Dice with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dice tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dice tries to bum rush Cox with a series of wild strikes but Cox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cox goes for a double leg but Dice avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dice continues to drive forward.

Cox changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dice tries to avoid it but Cox manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dice to the ground. Dice escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's time! Cox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dice.

Well Dice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
