The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Froch throws a right hand that Fatton ducks under and follows up with a left that Fatton also avoids with ease.
Froch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fatton.

and Froch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've been told by Froch's head coaches at Team London that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Froch lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fatton at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Froch works Fatton's body with a nice hook.
Froch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fatton doesn't seem bothered though.
Fatton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Froch pinned against the cage. Froch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Froch is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Fatton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Froch but Froch pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Froch lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Froch moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Carlo Froch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Froch paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Fatton is rocked!
Froch lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fatton backs up against the cage.
Fatton is still on wobbly legs! Can Froch finish him?
Froch lands with a big left! Fatton is wobbled badly! Froch comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Fatton to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
