Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Teddy Lamont!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronaldo Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamont throws a chopping leg kick but Gracie manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lamont bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gracie's head.
Lamont tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
Lamont scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Gracie is rocked!
Lamont cracks Gracie with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gracie tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lamont pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gracie is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teddy Lamont!
