The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chair darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Chair shoots for a double leg takedown but Sinistra sprawls well. He's pushed Chair's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chair doesn't manage to clinch there - Sinistra circles away.
Chair shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sinistra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chair moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sinistra throws out a loose jab but Chair uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice uppercut lands for Chair. That snapped Sinistra's head back.
Sinistra avoids the body shot from Chair.
A big right from Sinistra misses.
Chair moves out of range of the strikes.
Chair swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Chair lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sinistra throws a shot from downtown. Chair moves away and avoids it.
The crowd cheers as Chair lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sinistra doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sinistra misses with a double jab.
Good work by Sinistra as he checks the leg kick.
Sinistra looks to land a left hand but Chair moved out of range nicely.

A chopping leg kick lands by Chair.
Sinistra takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sinistra connects with a body shot.
Sinistra thows a body shot but no joy.
Chair throws a shot to the body.
Vinnie Sinistra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sinistra throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been hearing reports that Chair has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vinnie Sinistra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chair chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Chair gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sinistra throws the left hand but Chair avoids the punch easily.
Chair scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Chair clinches up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Chair gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sinistra wants to get back to his feet.
Chair working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chair lands a nice short elbow.
Chair tries to pass to full mount but Sinistra defends it.
Chair is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chair connects with a nice short shot to Sinistra's temple.
Sinistra has hold of Chair's hands but Chair slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sinistra pushes Chair off looking to stand but Chair dives back in and keeps control.

Chair decides to return to a standing position.
Chair throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sinistra looks to score with a jab to the body but Chair is just out of range.
Sinistra misses with a body shot.

Sinistra tries to sprawl but Chair drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Chair prevents Sinistra from standing back up.
Chair working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chair seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Chair lands strikes from half guard.
Sinistra is still in real trouble! Can Chair finish him?
Chair lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Sinistra! More strikes land and this one is all over! Chair jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
