Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Ioannou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Raphson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Carl Raphson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ioannou gets a clinch.
Ioannou has hold of one of Raphson's legs. Raphson is fighting the takedown attempt but Ioannou gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ioannou preventing the sweep.
Ioannou passes Raphson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ioannou working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ioannou seems to be looking for submissions.

Ioannou tries to pass the half guard into mount. Raphson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Raphson wants to control but Ioannou is keeping busy.

Ioannou is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ioannou wants to work for an arm triangle but Raphson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ioannou is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Raphson sees it coming and defends easily.
Ioannou is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raphson is just riding it out for now. Ioannou eventually gives up the hold.
Ioannou wants to free his trapped foot but Raphson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Ioannou is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Raphson has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raphson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ioannou.
Ioannou is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ioannou is trying to control. Raphson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Raphson preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Ioannou is keen to just control but Raphson is a slippery customer.
Ioannou thows a huge punch but Raphson dodges it nicely.
Raphson is trying to get back to full guard.
Ioannou maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Raphson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ioannou has cracked it and Raphson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ioannou!
