Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bubba Balls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Duke!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duke but Duke pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Duke misses with a low kick.
Duke tries to clinch up.
Duke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Duke throws a sloppy head kick and Balls moves out of range easily.

Duke tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Balls counters by moving into the clinch.
Balls is looking for a takedown.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Duke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Duke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Duke throws a head kick but Balls moves out of range.

Balls keeps the fight on the outside.
Duke throws a low kick but Balls moves out of range easily.
Duke tries to close the distance and clinch but Balls swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Balls throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duke's waist but Duke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Balls off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Balls. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Balls drives through and clinches with Duke against the cage.

Duke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Balls paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Duke tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Duke.
Balls keeps the fight on the outside.
Balls fails with a takedown attempt.
Duke misses with a low kick.
Tyson Duke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Balls shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duke but Duke pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Duke tries to land a front kick but Balls steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Balls shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Duke as he avoids it easily.
Duke misses with an attempted mid kick.

Balls closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Balls lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Balls throws a big right hand that misses.
Balls works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Balls is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Duke sees it coming and defends easily.
Duke is in trouble now - Balls has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duke tries to buck Balls off so he can stand up but Balls has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Duke falls backwards, slamming Balls to the mat but Balls holds on tight! Duke is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bubba Balls!
A less than humble Bubba Balls misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
