Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ace Cunningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiko Yuuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aiko Yuuka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuuka takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Yuuka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cunningham tries to avoid it but Yuuka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cunningham to the ground. Cunningham escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cunningham darts in and clinches Yuuka up against the cage.
Cunningham lands with a light punch inside.
Yuuka is trying to pull guard but Cunningham has him pressed against the cage.
Cunningham lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Yuuka backwards.
Cunningham breaks the clinch.
Yuuka tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cunningham defends well and Yuuka ends up having to push Cunningham into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ace Cunningham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aiko Yuuka.

Yuuka is trying to pull guard but Cunningham has him pressed against the cage.

Yuuka jumps guard and drags Cunningham to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Cunningham wanted to stand there but Yuuka had control of the position.

Cunningham wants to stand and escape but instead Yuuka has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Yuuka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yuuka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Yuuka is working Cunningham over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Yuuka should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Yuuka lands a nice short elbow.
Yuuka in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cunningham tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Yuuka!
