The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jr tries to bum rush Mihalev with a series of wild strikes but Mihalev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
jr lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
jr blocks a low kick nicely.

jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mihalev.
Mihalev tries to clinch up but jr circles away and keeps his distance.

Mihalev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
jr scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Randy jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mihalev tries for a takedown but jr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
jr looks to land a combination but Mihalev avoids it well.
Mihalev shoots in for a double leg but jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mihalev tries to clinch but jr is having none of it.
