The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn throws a hook but Bourdoux blocks it.
Quinn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bourdoux darts in and clinches Quinn up against the cage.

Quinn closes the distance and clinches up with Bourdoux, looking for a takedown. Quinn pushes Bourdoux against the cage but Bourdoux circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bourdoux.
Quinn staying out of range there.

Bourdoux shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Quinn's guard.
Bourdoux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quinn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Quinn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bourdoux fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Quinn sprawls well initially but Bourdoux persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bourdoux seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quinn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Quinn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bourdoux's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bourdoux's back!
