Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salvador Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barret Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karelin has chosen Hearts on Fire by the Balboa as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karelin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Logan to the mat! Logan manages to get full guard.
Karelin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Karelin landing some decent shots from guard.
Karelin is stalling in the full guard.
Karelin throws a big right hand that misses.
Karelin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Logan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karelin on the ground.
Karelin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karelin drops back looking for a leg! Logan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Logan manages to kick Karelin off! Karelin jumps back into Logan's guard.
Logan wants to stand but Karelin is controlling the position.

Karelin throws a big right hand that misses.
Karelin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Karelin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Karelin with a dominant takedown and that's winded Logan.

Logan is controlling Karelin's posture.
Logan wants to stand up but Karelin is controlling him.
Karelin postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Logan covers up, he's hurt! Karelin keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Karelin and the ref steps in to end the fight! Karelin can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
