Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between AHIGA OTAKTAY (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Martens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OTAKTAY wants to slow Martens down by chopping away at his legs.
Martens clinches up against the cage.
Martens turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
OTAKTAY is not content to let Martens control the position.
Martens lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
OTAKTAY parries the strikes from Martens easily there. Martens is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable OTAKTAY to escape.

Martens stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Martens avoids a punch combination nicely.
Martens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but OTAKTAY moves away.
Martens throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Martens blocks a head kick by OTAKTAY.
Martens is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
OTAKTAY misses with a low kick as Martens jumps back.
OTAKTAY misses with a series of wild punches.
Martens shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Martens goes for an armbar but OTAKTAY turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from OTAKTAY.

Martens scrambles and gets back to his feet.
OTAKTAY with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Martens moves out of range of the body kick.
Martens on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

OTAKTAY throws a left and a right that both miss
and Martens counters with a lovely shot to the body.
AHIGA OTAKTAY seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

OTAKTAY tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Martens looks to land a combination. OTAKTAY sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like AHIGA OTAKTAY has been cut.
Martens pushes OTAKTAY up against the cage in a clinch.
OTAKTAY tries to break the clinch but Martens is controlling the position.
Martens lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Martens manages to break the clinch.
Martens lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Martens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with OTAKTAY but OTAKTAY pushes him off and we're back to square one.
AHIGA OTAKTAY is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Martens manages to break the clinch.
OTAKTAY throws a jab when Martens was well out of range.
Martens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

OTAKTAY falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martens counters with a one-two to the body.
OTAKTAY looks to score with a jab to the body but Martens is just out of range.
Martens dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on OTAKTAY. That did some damage!
OTAKTAY is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
OTAKTAY falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martens counters with a nice low kick that buckles OTAKTAY's knee momentarily.
OTAKTAY connects with the punch.
OTAKTAY avoids a punch combination nicely.
OTAKTAY throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Martens counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Martens breaks from the clinch.
Martens ducks under a wild hook from OTAKTAY.
Martens blocks a low kick nicely.
OTAKTAY throws a left and a right that both miss
and Martens counters with a nice low kick that buckles OTAKTAY's knee momentarily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Martens has taken the fight to the clinch.
Martens tries to score a body lock takedown but OTAKTAY shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
OTAKTAY wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Martens's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Martens duly obliges.
Martens moves into the clinch successfully.
Martens tries to score a body lock takedown but OTAKTAY shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

AHIGA OTAKTAY has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Martens.
Martens shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in OTAKTAY's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
OTAKTAY is trying to keep Martens in close.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martens accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
OTAKTAY is working an open guard so Martens takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Martens takes a kick to the side of the head.
OTAKTAY moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Martens lands with a slapping head kick.
OTAKTAY missing with a left hand there. Martens was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
OTAKTAY throws a left and a right that both miss
and Martens moves into the clinch.
Martens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Justin Martens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! OTAKTAY's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Martens trying to control the position from guard on top but OTAKTAY is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Martens has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of OTAKTAY is proving hard to escape from.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Martens wanted to stand there but OTAKTAY had control of the position.

Martens decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on OTAKTAY, up you get!

Martens tries to bum rush OTAKTAY with a series of wild strikes but OTAKTAY uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Martens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Martens tightens his grip and picks OTAKTAY up, before dumping him to the ground. OTAKTAY manages to land in guard.
Martens decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
OTAKTAY connects with a solid leg kick.
AHIGA OTAKTAY has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

OTAKTAY misses with a low kick.
OTAKTAY lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Justin Martens comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Martens has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
