Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Zhao just misses with a punch to the body.
Ellis shoots in for a double leg but Zhao sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ellis tries to clinch there but Zhao circles away.
Zhao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Zhao escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ellis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ellis wants to control from the top but Zhao keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ellis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zhao avoids it really well and circles away.
Zhao shoots in looking for a takedown but Ellis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zhao's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Horrible takedown by Zhao or perhaps it was just good defense by Ellis which made him look bad.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zhao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ellis defends well and Zhao ends up having to push Ellis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ellis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zhao pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Zhao tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ellis smiles and moves away.

That's time! Ellis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
A looping hook to the body misses from Ellis. Zhao does a little dance to reset his feet.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Ellis has gone for a leg lock! Zhao slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ellis's guard.

Lee Zhao is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Lee Zhao.
Well Zhao has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
