Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eldon Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itsu Hitigaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitigaki has chosen The Whistler as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eldon Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Itsu Hitigaki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hitigaki.
No luck for Mack with that takedown attempt.

Hitigaki dives in and scores a takedown into Mack's guard.
Mack seems keen to control Hitigaki's posture.
Hitigaki controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hitigaki distracts Mack with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hitigaki working some strikes from top position.
Mack really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hitigaki sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mack's guard.
Hitigaki not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Hitigaki scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hitigaki wants to take a breather but Mack is having none of it.
Hitigaki lands with a punch from half guard.
Hitigaki trying to mount his opponent but Mack defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Itsu Hitigaki was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Mack fails to land the takedown.
Hitigaki misses the shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mack closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hitigaki circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eldon Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hitigaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hitigaki is keen to just control but Mack is a slippery customer.
Hitigaki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mack wants to get back to full guard but Hitigaki has mounted him!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hitigaki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mack is looking to escape.

Hitigaki lands a big shot there that rocks Mack but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hitigaki looking to control but Mack is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mack tries to hold on but Hitigaki pushes him away.
Hitigaki trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hitigaki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Mack keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hitigaki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Mack is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hitigaki wants to finish this one by submission but Mack is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hitigaki.
Mack is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Itsu Hitigaki dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Hitigaki clinches with his opponent.
Mack misses with a knee to the head.
Mack pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hitigaki makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Oh Mack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hitigaki is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Mack will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hitigaki up against the cage.
Mack seems to have got his legs back now.

Hitigaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hitigaki feints and as Mack raises his hands in defense, Hitigaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hitigaki is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hitigaki stands up over Mack, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hitigaki won't allow Mack to get back to his feet.

Hitigaki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mack is keeping the position for now.
Hitigaki throwing strikes but missing.
Hitigaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mack looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hitigaki controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hitigaki landing some decent shots from guard.
Hitigaki missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Mack had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hitigaki defends it easily.

Hitigaki stands up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mack throws a head kick but Hitigaki moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mack throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hitigaki.
Hitigaki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mack has time to react.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hitigaki.
Mack misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mack wants to clinch.
Hitigaki pounces like a tiger and cracks Mack with a vicious hook! Mack is down but not out! Hitigaki follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Itsu Hitigaki!
Itsu Hitigaki seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
