Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tork Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Kendall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mendez has his foot on Kendall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kendall works his way back into a safe position though.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mendez holds on and takes a little breather.

Mendez is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kendall throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mendez's body to avoid the submission. Mendez has instead reached around Kendall's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mendez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
