The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Campbell on his heels. He'll look to pass Campbell's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Campbell had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bryant defends it easily.

Campbell is looking for a sweep. Bryant is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bryant passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Campbell!
Bryant has control of Campbell's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Campbell regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Campbell can't escape the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Bryant's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bryant wants to pass the guard but Campbell is defending well.

Bryant is trying to control the action in half guard but Campbell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bryant is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Campbell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bryant.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bryant has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Campbell defend it? Bryant steps over the head and cranks it - Campbell is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bryant!
