The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tacos misses with a body shot.
Tacos misses with a series of wild punches.

Patel rushes Tacos and presses him up against the cage.

Patel pulls Tacos into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tacos gets to his feet. Patel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Tacos scores with a jab to the body.
Tacos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Patel as he jumps to the side.
Tacos misses with a two punch combination.
Patel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tacos but Tacos pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Patel instigates a clinch.
Come on Patel - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Patel really is a fat lump.

Tacos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Patel is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tacos to the mat. Tacos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Tacos has his feet on Patel's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Tacos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Tacos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Patel paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cherizo Tacos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Patel gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Tacos gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
