The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pie clobbers Crusher with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nice sprawl there from Pie as Crusher shoots in.
Pie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crusher.
Pie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crusher throws out a loose jab but Pie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Crusher throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pie misses with a takedown attempt - Crusher sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Crusher is looking to clinch.
Crusher gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pie has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Crusher is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pie lands with a straight right. Crusher didn't see that one coming.
Crusher slaps away a takedown attempt from Pie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Crusher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pie swivels and escapes.
Crusher fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Crusher leaves Pie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Crusher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pie swivels and escapes.
Crusher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pie as he jumps to the side.
Crusher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pie swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pie throws a shot from downtown. Crusher moves away and avoids it.
Crusher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pie cracks Crusher with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Skull Crusher has been cut.
Pie throws out a loose jab but Crusher uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pie connects with a jab.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pie misses with a few strikes there.
Paul Pie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pie lands with an uppercut that bounces Crusher off the cage and back into range.
Crusher closes the distance and clinches up with Pie, looking for a takedown. Crusher pushes Pie against the cage but Pie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Crusher is breathing heavily.
Pie scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Crusher doesn't seem bothered though.
Crusher dodges the punch combination from Pie.
Crusher's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pie connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Crusher scrambles back to his feet.
Pie works Crusher's body with a nice hook.
Crusher is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Crusher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pie but Pie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Crusher takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Crusher is rocked!
The crowd cheers as Pie lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crusher doesn't seem phased though.
Oh Crusher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice takedown defense from Pie. No joy for Crusher on that attempt.
Crusher seems to have got his legs back now.
Pie is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Crusher had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pie lands a jab-cross combination.
Crusher takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pie might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Pie drops Crusher with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pie follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
