Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymon Lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo Massey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Massey moves into the clinch successfully.

Massey jumps into guard, dragging Lara to the mat.
Lara trying to control the position from guard on top but Massey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lara stands up over Massey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lara would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Massey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lara could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Massey in particular looking to stall.

Massey shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Lara is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Massey can't fight it off and eventually Lara manages to take the fight to the floor. Massey looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Massey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Massey has managed to get both his arms back between Lara's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Massey pinned against the cage. Massey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Massey lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lara or not.

Massey throws a right and a left that Lara avoids nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lara has given up his back. Will we see Massey going for some submissions?

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Massey is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Lara presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

That's time! Lara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Massey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lara manages to get himself to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Massey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
