Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felton Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Munoz's choice of entrance music: Never Say Never-Justin Bieber. Mark Munoz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felton Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Munoz!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Felton Potter has been cut.
Munoz wants to clinch

and Potter moves into the clinch.
Munoz working hard to break the clinch.

Munoz is trying to break free.

Munoz pushes Potter back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Potter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Munoz throws a head kick that misses.
Munoz fails in his attempt to clinch.

Potter has Munoz up against the cage in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Potter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Munoz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Munoz misses with a takedown

and Potter counters by clinching up.
Munoz is trying to break the clinch but Potter has him pressed against the cage.

Potter gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Munoz manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Potter advances position into side control!

Potter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

and Potter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Munoz won't be happy with that.

Potter working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Munoz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Potter's best efforts.
Potter slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Munoz wants to improve his position but Potter is controlling well.
Munoz looks like he's trying to stand up.
Potter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Munoz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Potter stops Munoz from getting back to his feet.

Potter slips a nice elbow through Munoz's hands, connecting with Munoz's forehead.
Still in half guard, Potter seems content to control.

Potter stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Munoz to get to his feet.
Potter misses with a straight left.
Munoz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Potter counters with a takedown into side control.
Munoz is being controlled here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Potter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Munoz!
Munoz is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Potter has taken his back!
Potter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Potter is riding his opponent, not letting Munoz buck him off.

Potter looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Munoz tries to clinch there but Potter circles away.

Potter shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Munoz is trying to defend but Potter finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Felton Potter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Munoz is trying to stand.
Munoz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's time! Potter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Potter drives through and clinches with Munoz against the cage.

Potter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Munoz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Potter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Potter decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Munoz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Munoz misses with a head kick.
Potter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Munoz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Potter dives in and scores a takedown into Munoz's guard.
Munoz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Munoz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee warns Munoz that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Potter lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
