Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grap Dummy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuuya Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ueda has chosen UnderDog - Test Eagles as his entrance music. Kuuya Ueda will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Grap Dummy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kuuya Ueda!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dummy looks to land a body kick but Ueda moved away.
Dummy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ueda lands a jab.
Dummy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ueda can pounce on him.

Ueda closes the distance and clinches.
Dummy jumps guard but Ueda turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ueda connects with a knee to the head.
Dummy tries to break free but Ueda pushes him back against the cage.
Dummy takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Grap Dummy has been cut.
Dummy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ueda smiles and moves away.
Ueda throws out a powerful jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ueda closes the distance but Dummy moves to the side

and Dummy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ueda's guard.
Dummy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dummy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dummy wants to control from the top but Ueda keeps moving.
Dummy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dummy controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Grap Dummy just wasn't active enough.
Ueda tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Dummy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Dummy wants to work for an arm triangle but Ueda is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ueda gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ueda is striking but Dummy is not phased and passes to half guard.
Ueda is trying to stand back up but Dummy is controlling him
Well, if Dummy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ueda is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Ueda is looking to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ueda is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ueda tries to control the position but Dummy now has his back.
Ueda looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Dummy throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Ueda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dummy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ueda looking very determined here, making life difficult for Dummy.

Dummy looking for the choke but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dummy struggling to land strikes to the head as Ueda covers up.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dummy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ueda has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
What can Ueda do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dummy sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Ueda taps out!
