Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ian McSpeed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Frulani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frulani has chosen In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 by Coheed and Cambria as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frulani fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McSpeed to the ground. Frulani is now in McSpeed's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McSpeed controlling the position.
Frulani loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Frulani is defended easily by McSpeed.

Frulani shoots for a double leg takedown but McSpeed sprawls well. He's pushed Frulani's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McSpeed tries to pull guard but Frulani holds him up against the cage and eventually McSpeed drops back down to his feet.
Frulani throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Frulani is working for takedown but McSpeed is calmly controlling the position for now.

McSpeed drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Frulani gets the underhooks and prevents it.
McSpeed is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Frulani drives through and clinches with McSpeed against the cage.

Frulani lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
McSpeed is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Frulani to keep the fight standing.
Frulani drops down looking for an ankle pick but McSpeed pulls his leg out and moves away.

and McSpeed counters with a nice double leg into side control. Frulani won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Ian McSpeed will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Frulani accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ian McSpeed.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McSpeed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
