The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as BigMan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
BigMan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

BigMan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Abdalla's half guard.
Abdalla works his way to full guard. Good work.
BigMan wants to control from the top but Abdalla keeps moving.
BigMan stopping the sweep attempt from Abdalla.

Abdalla has his foot on BigMan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. BigMan works his way back into a safe position though.

Abdalla passes easily into side control. Nice work.
BigMan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abdalla. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
BigMan is trying to escape the position but Abdalla is controlling the position.
BigMan can't do much from the bottom here.
Abdalla is looking to take a break and control but BigMan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
