The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Vjadenek.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Town gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Vjadenek is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Town can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vjadenek has hold of Town's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Town manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
