PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chang Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petteri Jeskanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jeskanen shoots in but Jenkins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Petteri Jeskanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenkins is looking to clinch but Jeskanen is avoiding it.
Jenkins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jenkins wants to stand but Jeskanen has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

It looks like Jenkins is going to stand back up.
Jeskanen wants to control but Jenkins is keeping busy.

Jenkins is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jenkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jeskanen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jenkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jenkins's back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jeskanen shoots in and drives through. Jenkins sprawls well.

Jenkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jenkins drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jeskanen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jeskanen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jeskanen!

Jeskanen tries to score with some ground and pound. Jenkins controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jenkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jeskanen is working away from the top position though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Petteri Jeskanen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jeskanen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jenkins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jeskanen somewhat.

Jenkins gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Petteri Jeskanen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jeskanen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
