PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berny Hernian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jung comes into the arena with Pantera - I'm Broken blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung moves in looking to clinch but Hernian pushes him off.

Hernian gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Jung's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jung pushes Hernian away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hernian gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Jung throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No luck for Hernian with that takedown attempt.

Hernian shoots in and bounces Jung off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jung is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hernian closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hernian lands in his opponent's guard.

Hernian drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hernian jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hernian connects with a nice short shot to Jung's temple.

Hernian is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jung defends it well.
