The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ditka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cortez manages to avoid it.
Ditka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ditka showed some decent athleticism there.
Ditka is looking to take a break and control but Cortez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
