Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Mmachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mmachi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Droideka- Get Hyper. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bishop closes the distance and clinches.
Mmachi keeps control of Bishop as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bishop is pressed up against the cage. Mmachi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bishop down to the mat. Bishop avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mmachi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

A solid leg kick lands there for Mmachi.
Bishop stalks Mmachi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mmachi's face. Mmachi staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Chris Mmachi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mmachi misses with a head kick.
Bishop lands with an uppercut that bounces Mmachi off the cage and back into range.

and Bishop counters with a left and a right that hurts Mmachi! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Bishop jumps into full mount!

Mmachi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Bishop wants to stand but Mmachi is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Mmachi tries to lock up and control but Bishop gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Bishop stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Horrible takedown by Mmachi or perhaps it was just good defense by Bishop which made him look bad.

Oooh a lovely combination from Bishop sends Mmachi down but not out. Bishop dives into side control looking to finish.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bishop decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Mmachi seems to have recovered his senses.

Mmachi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bishop to keep the fight standing.

Bishop fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mmachi, pushing him back against the cage.

Mmachi gets control of Bishop's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mmachi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
