Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anwar Sadat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Anwar Sadat was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anwar Sadat!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer misses the jab.
Sadat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spencer swivels and escapes.
Spencer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Spencer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Spencer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sadat counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sadat takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Spencer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Spencer tries to get out of the position.
Spencer is trying to get back to full guard.
Sadat is looking to take a break and control but Spencer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
My spies in CW's Elite Kung-Fu Academy inform me that Sadat has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Sadat is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Spencer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
