The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brief shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allen as he jumps to the side.
Allen fails to land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Allen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Allen pushes Brief up against the cage in a clinch.

Brief jumps guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brief trying to keep a closed guard but Allen is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brief has a closed guard, preventing Allen from standing up.

Allen is posturing up here but Brief has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Allen tries to roll out but it's too tight and Allen has to tap! Slick submission there by Brief!
