Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steffan Bonnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Utter Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steffan Bonnar had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Steffan Bonnar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Utter Bum's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steffan Bonnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Utter Bum!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonnar tries a head kick but it misses.
Bum misses with a takedown
and Bonnar counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bum shoots in and drives through. Bonnar sprawls well.
Bonnar pushes Bum up against the cage in a clinch.
Bonnar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bonnar connects with a looping right hand.
Some wild striking there from Bum.
Bum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bonnar chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bum fails with a takedown attempt.
Steffan Bonnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Utter Bum.
Bum shoots and misses
and Bonnar moves into the clinch.
Bum looks winded!
Bonnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bum tries to sprawl but Bonnar drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Bonnar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bum tries to get to full guard but Bonnar has control of the leg.
Bum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bonnar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bonnar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bum is rocked!
Bonnar scores with a big shot! Bum's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bum! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steffan Bonnar!
