The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negreanu stuns Hallick with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hallick drops his hands momentarily and Negreanu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Negreanu wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hallick thows a body kick. Negreanu tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A slow jab from Hallick misses its intended target.
Hallick throws a lazy uppercut
and Negreanu counters with a left to the body.
Negreanu throws a good cross that connects.
Hallick misses with a straight right.
Hallick drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Negreanu slips a jab and a cross from Hallick.

Negreanu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hallick lands a big uppercut and Negreanu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Negreanu looks OK. Hallick waves Negreanu back to his feet!

Hallick has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Negreanu loads up on a big right hand but Hallick slips the punch.

Hallick might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Negreanu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Negreanu jabs Hallick right on the nose. Hallick blinks but takes it well.
Negreanu dips to his left and cracks Hallick with an uppercut!

and Hallick counters with a flying knee that drops Negreanu! Hallick dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
