Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Zaylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewayne Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaylor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Zaylor decides to stand back up.

Zaylor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bryant misses with an elbow from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Bryant's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Zaylor decides to stand back up. Zaylor steps back and let's Bryant get back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bryant tries to pull guard but Zaylor won't allow it.

Zaylor has Bryant pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Zaylor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bryant tumbling to the mat - Zaylor dives into Bryant's guard.
Bryant is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Zaylor gets to his feet - Bryant follows without any prompting.

Zaylor clinches up with Bryant and pushes him back against the cage.
Zaylor tries to throw a body punch but Bryant avoids it by throwing Zaylor back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bryant just leaning against Zaylor, taking a breather.

Zaylor has hold of one of Bryant's legs. Bryant is fighting the takedown attempt but Zaylor gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Zaylor decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bryant, up you get!

Zaylor has closed the distance and engaged Bryant in a clinch.
Bryant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bryant can't find room to land a body shot as Zaylor controls the action.

Zaylor has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bryant regains guard immediately.
Zaylor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bryant working for a triangle but Zaylor defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bryant pushes a forearm under Zaylor's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zaylor is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Dewayne Bryant bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
