Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray J Favre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua comes to the cage accompanied by Slayed. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Favre fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Favre darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Favre stops Rua from getting back to his feet.
Rua wants to control but Favre is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rua is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Rua is looking to improve his position.
Favre seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Favre wants to take a breather but Rua is having none of it.

Rua makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Favre has a takedown stuffed.
Favre should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Favre trying to control but Rua flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Rua is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Rua gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Rua gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Rua apologises and we restart here on the feet.
