Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rudolf Hinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Silang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Make it bun dem Skrillex. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rudolf Hinkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diego Silang!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hinkle pushes Silang up against the cage in a clinch.

Hinkle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hinkle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silang as he avoids it easily.
Hinkle wants to clinch.

Hinkle gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hinkle breaks from the clinch.
Silang has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A punch combination from Hinkle misses.
Rudolf Hinkle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hinkle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hinkle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silang napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hinkle is looking to take a break and control but Silang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Silang's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Hinkle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silang keeps working.
Hinkle working the ground and pound.
Hinkle in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Silang regains half guard, as Hinkle was trying to land strikes.
Hinkle is looking to take a break and control but Silang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Silang is trying to stand up here but Hinkle is controlling him well.

Silang is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hinkle missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Hinkle is looking to stall here but Silang recovers full guard.
Hinkle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hinkle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hinkle postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hinkle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hinkle looking to sit in guard and control but Silang gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hinkle wants to stand but Silang is controlling the position.
Silang wants to control from the top but Hinkle keeps moving.
Silang works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Silang looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hinkle trying to hold on to Silang's head to control him but Silang postures up.

Silang is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hinkle tries to get to full guard but Silang has control of the leg.
Hinkle is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Iron Fist Training, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Hinkle is controlling Silang's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hinkle landing strikes from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silang seems to be working for a kimura but Hinkle defends the submission attempt.
Hinkle keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rudolf Hinkle dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Silang takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Hinkle rushes Silang and presses him up against the cage.
Hinkle is looking to break free of the clinch but Silang has double underhooks.
Hinkle goes for a takedown attempt but Silang pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Hinkle. Those never looked like landing.

Hinkle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silang napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Silang is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Silang tries to kick Hinkle off but Hinkle keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hinkle trying to advance position but Silang counters by regaining guard.
Hinkle throws an elbow that misses. Silang uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hinkle's guard. Nice move by Silang!
Silang wants to stand but Hinkle has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Silang wants to control from the top but Hinkle keeps moving.

Silang is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Silang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hinkle looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hinkle is pulling down on Silang's head to control his posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silang sitting in guard here, content to control.
Hinkle controlling Silang's posture.
Silang slips nicely into half guard.
Hinkle is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silang is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hinkle has managed to free his arm - good work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silang maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hinkle could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Silang has cracked it and Hinkle is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Silang!
