Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jazon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Maninng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jazon James looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James feints and as Maninng raises his hands in defense, James changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
James looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
James wants to pass the guard but Maninng is keeping the position.

Maninng shoots for a double leg takedown but James sprawls well. He's pushed Maninng's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

James jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Maninng manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Maninng is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but James has just dragged him back down to the mat.
James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maninng keeps working.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Maninng shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
James fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maninng, pushing him back against the cage.
Maninng tries to break the clinch but James is controlling the position.

and James counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

James advances nicely into full mount.
