Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Canute Tesch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tesch comes to the cage accompanied by Bloody Pants Says Hello. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesch tries to clinch there but Edwards circles away.
Edwards moves forwards but Tesch connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Tesch drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Edwards is trying to get back to half guard.
Tesch tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Tesch is looking to take a break and control but Edwards is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Edwards tries to bench press Tesch off him but Tesch keeps the position.

Edwards is trying to buck Tesch off.
Tesch tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tesch has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Edwards takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Edwards wants to get back to his feet.
Edwards is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tesch is tying to control. Edwards wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Tesch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tesch doesn't manage to clinch there - Edwards circles away.

Tesch throws a series of punches but Edwards avoids them all with ease.
Tesch looks for a takedown but Edwards sprawls well.
Tesch moves in looking to clinch but Edwards pushes him off.
Tesch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Edwards wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tesch has him pressed against the cage.

Tesch feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Edwards's calf.
Edwards will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Canute Tesch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Edwards throws a leg kick but Tesch checks it.
Tesch digs a good body shot into Edwards's ribs.

so Edwards counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tesch pushes Edwards off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tesch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tesch closes the distance and clinches up with Edwards, looking for a takedown. Tesch pushes Edwards against the cage but Edwards circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Canute Tesch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tesch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Edwards moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tesch misses with a double jab.
Tesch throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Edwards displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tesch throws out the jab.

Tesch gets caught flat footed, as Edwards shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Tesch is trying to stand up here but Edwards is controlling him well.
Tesch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Edwards is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tesch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Edwards really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tesch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tim Edwards showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Tesch throws a right hand that Edwards ducks under and follows up with a left that Edwards also avoids with ease.

Edwards seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tesch does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tesch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Edwards is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tesch is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Tesch lands an elbow that stopped Edwards in his tracks for a moment.

I would just about give that final round to Tim Edwards.
