Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Buck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ollie Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaels has chosen Stronger by Kanye West as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ollie Michaels!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buck tries to bum rush Michaels with a series of wild strikes but Michaels uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Buck fails with a takedown attempt.
Lucas Buck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Michaels's waist but Michaels gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buck off to one side.
Buck changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Michaels tries to avoid it but Buck manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Michaels to the ground. Michaels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Buck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buck works Michaels's body with a nice hook.
Buck shoots in and drives through. Michaels sprawls well.

Michaels closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Michaels thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Michaels is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Buck has escaped the position, nice work there.

Michaels tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Michaels has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Buck is not content to let Michaels control the position.
Buck is breathing heavily.
Michaels creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Buck wants to get back to his feet but Michaels drags him back down.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Buck is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Michaels is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Michaels has hold of Buck's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Buck tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Michaels cranks the arm and Buck screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Buck, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
