The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayhem fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reckoning, pushing him back against the cage.
Reckoning just leaning against Mayhem, taking a breather.

Mayhem breaks the clinch.

Reckoning rushes Mayhem and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mayhem has Reckoning pushed against the cage.

Reckoning breaks from the clinch.

Mayhem rushes Reckoning and presses him up against the cage.

Mayhem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Reckoning throws a nice looking combination but Mayhem bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Reckoning instigates a clinch.
Reckoning jumps guard but Mayhem turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Mayhem is trying to pull guard but Reckoning has him pressed against the cage.
Reckoning has Mayhem pressed against the cage, preventing Mayhem from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Reckoning escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reckoning getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mayhem shoots for a double leg takedown but Reckoning sprawls well. He's pushed Mayhem's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Reckoning jumps guard and drags Mayhem to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Reckoning wants to stand up but Mayhem is controlling him.
Mayhem must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Reckoning scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Reckoning shoots in for a takedown but Mayhem shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mayhem looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gotham Reckoning. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mayhem clinches with his opponent.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Reckoning.
Reckoning lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Reckoning pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Reckoning drives through and clinches with Mayhem against the cage.
Reckoning looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Reckoning tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mayhem is trying to push Reckoning away but Reckoning has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Reckoning lands with a left to the head.

Reckoning misses with a hook to the ribs.
Reckoning tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mayhem smiles and moves away.
Reckoning misses with a takedown attempt - Mayhem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Reckoning effectively controlling the action here.
Reckoning tries a knee to the head but Mayhem blocks it.

Mayhem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mayhem has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Reckoning after a bit of a struggle.

Reckoning lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mayhem backwards.

Reckoning lands a big head kick that sends Mayhem tumbling to the mat! Reckoning takes a step backwards and waves Mayhem back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mayhem covers up and Reckoning unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
