The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson tries to clinch but Nufgr is having none of it.

Nufgr tries to clinch up but Patterson circles away and keeps his distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Patterson.

Patterson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nufgr tries to break free but Patterson pushes him back against the cage.

Patterson jumps into guard, dragging Nufgr to the mat.

Nufgr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Patterson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nufgr is looking to defend but Patterson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nufgr! Patterson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nufgr taps out and this one is all over!

A determined Russell Patterson didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
