The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsioutas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.

Tsioutas feints and as Williams raises his hands in defense, Tsioutas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Williams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tsioutas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Williams has his foot on Tsioutas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tsioutas works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Williams slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
