Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Mousasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wycleef Ikabuki!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mousasi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ikabuki looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

It looks like Wycleef Ikabuki has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mousasi goes for a double leg but Ikabuki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ikabuki continues to drive forward.
Mousasi prevents the takedown attempt.
Mousasi jumps guard but Ikabuki stands there with Mousasi around his waist. Mousasi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mousasi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Mousasi tries to pull guard but Ikabuki holds him up against the cage and eventually Mousasi drops back down to his feet.

Mousasi uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Mousasi darts in looking for a takedown but Ikabuki gets double underhooks and turns Mousasi into the cage.
Mousasi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Mousasi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ikabuki after a bit of a struggle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ikabuki has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mousasi is trying to keep an underhook but Ikabuki manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Ikabuki shoots in for a takedown but Mousasi shows good takedown defense.
Mousasi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ikabuki swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ikabuki is working an open guard so Mousasi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mousasi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ikabuki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mousasi dives in for a single leg takedown but Ikabuki sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mousasi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ikabuki pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Mousasi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ikabuki quickly recovers to half guard.
Ikabuki wants to improve his position but Mousasi is controlling well.

Mousasi lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Ikabuki has left one of his arms exposed and Mousasi doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ikabuki screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
