Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Purcell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Ryan Diaz had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Ryan Diaz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rick Purcell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a front kick aimed at Purcell's knee but Purcell avoids it well.
Purcell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Purcell scores with a one two! Diaz had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Purcell lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Diaz falls backwards - clearly groggy! Purcell dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
