Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marquis DeSade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Head has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Marquis DeSade!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeSade lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
DeSade fakes the leg kick and cracks Head in the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for DeSade.
Head is breathing heavily.

DeSade gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Head is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

DeSade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Head. That did some damage!

It looks like Anthony Head has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

DeSade is looking for a kimura but Head is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for DeSade to get the leverage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Head's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

DeSade fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Head, pushing him back against the ropes.

DeSade wants the takedown. Head is fighting it off but DeSade persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Head's guard against the ropes.

Well DeSade has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
