Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Connolly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Connolly feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.
Connolly throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Connolly throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Some wild striking there from Jones.
An inside leg kick lands from Connolly.
Connolly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Connolly swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Connolly tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Connolly takes the fight into the clinch.
Connolly creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jones's defenses.
Connolly looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Jones blocks an elbow strike.
Jones pressing his opponent against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Connolly lands with a light punch inside.

Connolly creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Connolly misses with a body punch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Connolly.
Jones tries to stall but Connolly uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jones seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Connolly is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Connolly tries to land knees in the clinch but Jones avoids the damage to the body.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Connolly lands an elbow inside that Jones shrugs off.
Connolly has a couple of punches blocked by Jones.

We've been informed that Connolly has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Connolly pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Connolly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

A jab from Connolly finds it's way through Jones's defenses.

Jones drops Connolly with a beautiful combination! Connolly stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jones is looking for the KO!

It looks like Brandon Connolly has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Connolly.
Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Connolly.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.
Connolly on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A solid body kick from Connolly.
Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Connolly fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jones checks it well.
Jones's corner calls for a 1-2. Jones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Jones steps in with a hook that catches Connolly right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jones follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Connolly looks absolutely devastated.
