Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michihiro Bukake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bukake has chosen Primo Victoria as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michihiro Bukake !
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a straight left.
Bukake throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Bukake keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bukake throws a head kick that misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Silva.
Silva seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Silva lands a jab to the nose.
A punch combination from Silva misses.
Bukake looks for the body kick but Silva saw that one coming.
Bukake feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Bukake changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bukake thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wanderlei Silva.
Bukake tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva scores with a one two! Bukake had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Michihiro Bukake has been cut.
Silva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bukake tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Bukake .
Bukake tries a knee to the head but Silva blocks it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Bukake is trying to trip Silva. He has hold of a leg but Silva is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bukake persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Wanderlei Silva just wasn't active enough.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Silva jerks Bukake 's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Bukake drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Silva goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Silva because Bukake was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Wanderlei Silva!
Wanderlei Silva was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
