Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Damage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damage's entrance music is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ysdbj-WzvI. A fine choice. Cain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. A Warrior's Call kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ultimate Damage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Ultimate Damage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Cain!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cain misses with a lunging right hand
and Damage counters with a solid body kick.
Cain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Damage counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cain is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Cain takes a swing at Damage's ribcage but misses.
Cain throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Damage counters with a series of strikes. Cain will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Damage moves out of range as Cain strikes.
Cain throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cain fails to land with a series of punches.

Damage defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cain.
Ultimate Damage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Cain.
Cain scores with a nice head shot.
Cain misses with a hook
and Damage counters with a head kick.
Cain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Damage.

and Damage counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Damage dodges the punch combination from Cain.
Cain goes for a double leg but Damage avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Damage continues to drive forward.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Damage is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Damage is struggling to control the position.
Cain looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ultimate Damage.
Cain misses the shot to the body.
Damage walks into a jab.

and Damage counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
The fighters circling - Cain throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Cain shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cain is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Damage is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cain wants to control but Damage is keeping him busy.
Damage looking for a sweep but Cain has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Damage is squirming around, avoiding Cain's attempts to control the action.

Cain wants to take Damage's back here but Damage is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Cain can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Damage is looking to escape.

Cain has control of Damage's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Damage regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cain throws some wild stikes that Damage manages to avoid easily.
Damage tries to hold on but Cain postures up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cain is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Damage can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cain throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Damage looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Cain looks to land a left hand but Damage moved out of range nicely.
Cain lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cain misses with a looping right.

Cain rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Damage counters with a solid body kick.
Cain lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cain throws a right hand that misses
and Damage counters with a big head kick but Cain shrugs it off.
Cain throws a poor cross that misses
and Damage counters with a low kick, right behind Cain 's knee.
Cain just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cain. Damage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cain misses with a lunging right hand
and Damage makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Damage stuffs the takedown attempt from Cain. Cain gets slowly back to his feet.
Ultimate Damage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Cain.

and Damage counters with a good, hard body kick but Cain shrugs it off.
Damage avoids the body shot from Cain.
Cain rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Damage counters with a left and a right that stings Cain.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Damage moves out of range as Cain strikes.
Cain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Damage moves away.
Cain throws a right hand that misses
and Damage counters with a one-two to the body.
Cain tries for a takedown but Damage circles away easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mike Cain seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Cain just misses with a punch to the body.
Cain throws an off balance right hand
and Damage counters with an inside leg kick.
Cain throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ultimate Damage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Damage pinned against the cage. Damage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cain is defended easily by Damage.
A telegraphed right hand from Cain misses the target.

Cain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Damage circles away quickly and effectively.
Cain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Damage counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cain's knee momentarily.
Cain misses with a few strikes there.

Mike Cain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Damage counters with a three punch combo that has Cain backing up. Cain nods at Damage to acknowledge the strikes.

and Damage counters with a big head kick but Cain shrugs it off.

Cain lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Damage backs up against the cage.
Left hook, right uppercut from Cain.
Cain misses with an uppercut
and Damage counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Cain misses with the combination.
Cain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cain misses with a two punch combination.
Mike Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damage blocks a jab.

Cain throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Damage sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Damage counters with a good, hard body kick but Cain shrugs it off.
Cain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
